ABBA is one of the most successful pop formations of the 70s and 80s. The initials of the two love couples, Agnetha & Björn and Anni-Frid & Benny, formed the basis for the band's name: ABBA. It turns out to be an act that has become an indispensable part of music history. There is enough hit repertoire to fill several best-of albums. These same world hits are still immensely popular more than 40 years later. A*Fever was founded in the summer of 2010. The idea of this ABBA cover band originated during a holiday in Sweden, prompted by a copy of 'ABBA Gold' purchased there. A*Fever's manager, Rock Hoekstra, became intrigued by the ABBA sound and upon returning home decided to ensure that ABBA's fantastic repertoire would be brought live to the stage again.

Not much later, the arrangements were made by musicians spread across the Netherlands and Sweden. A Frida, Agnetha, Benny & Björn completed the formation of A*Fever. The ABBA cover band has now become as routine in putting on an amazing show as ABBA itself. Since 2015, the original line-up of A*Fever has been expanded with a live band and the 9-piece band plays in theaters and pop venues throughout the Netherlands. We can proudly say that A*Fever is the best ABBA tribute band in Europe!
